mean people suck

I decided to start a blog for a couple of reasons. Mostly curiosity. My beautiful wife has been doing this blog thing for a while now and I thought it would be a good way to express myself. I enjoy writing, mostly journaling. I would also like for friends and family to have a way to "stay in the loop" on all the new and exiting experiences being revealed by our Hawaiian surroundings. The goal of this online journal is to address some issues I am passionate about.I also want to give some insight into why I believe that the statement "nice guys finish last" is indeed true, and I am ok with that.
